How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something but to be someone.

It has been far too long since my last update. I apologize to my few (if any) readers out there! I also apologize to myself, for not making time for me lately.
So here is a little synopsis of life since my last update:
1. I did my first real filling on a patient! For non-dental folk: I did a tooth colored filling on the inside of the top right front tooth that is next to the middle one. For dental people: I did a class III resin restoration on #7-DL. It was awesome. I actually stopped right after I started to take a deep breath and soak in the fact that I was ACTUALLY doing real dentistry on a real, living, breathing, human! I love it. I felt a renewed passion for dentistry. I can't wait to be treating patients full time!
2. The members of the class of 2013 are officially in the clinic 8 appointment times a week starting May 16th! I already have a few patients lined up, including one of my classmates. I'm excited. This means we will be in clinic far more than we are in class. woohoo! Half-way to being doctors!
3. Matthew and I are planning to begin training for another half marathon. I am scoping out our options and deciding which one we want to conquer next. I am also toying with the idea of a triathalon. Still doing some research there, and open to any feedback! I am also thinking of signing up for a summer bootcamp my gym is offering. I just want to wait for it to warm up a little bit (It was 34 degrees when I went to school today. Dear Wisconsin, it is LATE APRIL. Get with the program please). We will see how things pan out. We are also registered for the Warrior Dash in september. It is an obstacle course complete with a mudpit (because we loved muddy buddy!) I can't wait!
4. I will be a Warnken in less than 4 months! (115 days, 18 hours, and 4 minutes... but I'm not counting or anything). Plans are coming along swimmingly and we are both getting eager to tie the knot! See our other blog for more details soon!
5. My goal for the summer is more balance and more me time. We will be moving and I can't wait to reorganize, redecorate, and reenergize!
Watch for more specific updates on all of the above soon. Have a great week!
